There are many places in Nepal, which can provide you with a wonderful experience, but it’ll be hard for any one of them to beat the likes of the Trishuli River. This popular watercourse is the favorite of most thrill-seekers, given the high rapids and magnificent view. Apart from that, it’s easy accessibility also makes the river more likable than others.

Visitors can spend several hours rafting in the waterway and enjoying the breathtaking scenery along the way. The high-flowing rivers of Trishuli will provide you with the dramatic backdrop of subtropical forests filled with different wild species and birds.

The trip kicks off with a short drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi. We’ll leave the city, making the way through beautiful towns and drifting rivers. Amidst the journey, you’ll take the time to find some fish in a white river. After finishing for nearly three hours, we’ll continue the journey and head to the location of interest. The ride will go smooth on the highway, along with a panoramic view of sweeping hills and mountains. 11:00 AM: Briefing by the raft guide We’ll arrive at the destination before lunchtime. After that, our guide will provide you with all the safety guidelines and instructions. You can then hop into the inflatable raft and hit the class 3 rapids known as ‘Twin Rock’ and other few rapids. Since the turbulent river will do the rest of the jobs, you don’t have to put in a lot of hard work. Just keep paddling the raft to give it a direction and enjoy the lovely view of dense forests and clifftops. 2:00 Lunch After rafting for another three hours, you’ll stop to have lunch and shortly afterward get into the river. But this time, we’ll charge class 3 and class 4 rapids called ‘Upset’ and ‘Surprise’. As the name goes, these rivers are wild and fast, creating trouble for you. However, it’ll also amaze you with the view of beautiful landscapes and lofty hills while passing through the gorges. We’ll let you raft for another half an hour and then get you off the river at a fish lining stop. From there, we’ll be heading to the campsite by the river, where hot drinks will be served to help you stay warm. In the late afternoon, you’ll join the team for dinner and then head to the tent for an overnight stay.
Start the day with a wake-up tea as it’ll keep you fresh and active all day long. After you’ve finished the morning routine, we’ll set off for yet another water adventure. We’ll raft along the river for a brief moment and then take a tour of the nearby village. After exploring the village for almost half an hour, we’ll return to the tent and have breakfast. Without further delay, we’ll pack all the necessary items and head up to the river. Starting from the low rapids, we’ll work our way through the class II and class III rapids of Bijili Rapid and Tea Pot. The scenery along this river is nothing but impressive, with lofty mountains and verdant hills. After wading the raft for a while, we’ll stop to have lunch and then continue rafting again. From there, we’ll head out to the final point of Simtal and, finally, wrap the trip. As the rafting in the Trishuli River has come to an end, we’ll drive our way back to Kathmandu.
